KELOWNA'S WORK OF ART POTTERY STUDIO

We invite you to come in, unplug, relax and create your own Work of Art!

work of art pottery everyday

From special themes for holidays to variety to suit the Everyday, we can find something that will catch your attention, inspire your inner artist, and realize your vision. We are proud to work with a Canadian supplier that offers a wide range of creative bisque pieces and vibrant paints to set the creative world on fire.

Painting pottery is a therapeutic, meditative experience, allowing you to connect to long lost, or previous undiscovered, parts of Yourself.  Sit, relax or talk with friends and not feel the pressures of the outside world while clearing your mind.  And, at the end of your session, bring home a one of a kind original piece of art!

You may think, “but I have no experience and lack creativity.”  You don’t need to be an expert.  Let us help guide you in your creative journey with techniques and paints pairings, but only you can bring your image to life and what ever you create is an expression of You.  Whether you create a piece for yourself or cherished, original gift for a loved one.  You’ll both feel overjoyed knowing you created it!

Drop in, take a workshop, come to one of our special events or have your child’s birthday here.  Know that inside of all of us is an artist yearning to be unleashed!

A MESSAGE FROM CHERYL GAWLEY

Owner of Work of Art Pottery Studio in Kelowna

I feel so blessed and honoured to be sharing this experience with you.  I’ve had a love for creativity all my life.  I remember as a little girl wanting to make costumes for plays, learning to knit and making scarfs for my dolls, and of course painting!

Have you ever had a passion to do something creative with your life?  Well, painting pottery has always been one of mine.  And now it’s time for me to turn this into a reality.

My career path did not take me down the creative side.  I worked many years at a desk pushing paper working on numbers.  I don’t regret doing that.  It has led me to where I am now and where I want to be.

I’ve recently moved to the Kelowna area because of my love for the water, mountains, and wine!  I have wonderful childhood memories of this area when visiting relatives.  I want to share that experience with my own family now.  They have been my cornerstone and support throughout this journey and I can not express enough of my love for them.

I hope to bring some of my love for creativity to you and your family.
